Surgery Update 1

We arrived at 10:15 for anesthesia and ended up waiting until about 1:10pm. The heart surgery before Joey's was on an 8 day old baby who only has three chambers of the heart.

Joey was grumpy, but a trooper. He had his last bottle at 5:30 am, so by 1:10pm he was tired, grumpy and super hungry.

The anesthesiologist arrived and we had to hand our precious boy over.

It's now 3:30pm and we are just waiting for the first update.

It is all so surreal. We have deep faith in the surgeon and in God and we pray for our love bug.
